Base Assembly Cell

Seven Motoman robots process shock tubes from raw tubes to completely part stamped, welded (resistance and arc), and leak tested. Multiple machines by others integrated into one assembly cell. By use of FSU and Ethernet IP Safe, a technician can enter the cell with the robot teach pendant and enable that specific area machines for teaching and troubleshooting while the rest of the equipment is locked out. Thus, eliminating the need of multiple accessory pendants as single point of control is utilized.
